CEO / PRINCIPAL
Alan has over 36 years of professional engineering experience in the United States and overseas. As a Principal of Roshanian & Associates since 1987, Alan has been responsible for the Project Management/ Design of over 1,000 Projects including Hospitals, Schools, Motion Picture Industry Projects, Shopping Centers, Office Buildings, Industrial /Manufacturing Plants, Institutional, Commercial, Hospitality, and Residential Projects.
Alan works as a consultant to Los Angeles Unified School District to update Design Guides and Specification. Alan has conducted Peer Design Review for more than 100 new LAUSD campuses.
Between 1982 and 1986 Alan worked for Universal Studios/ MCA as a full time job assignment. He was involved in design and construction administration of Medium Voltage Power Distribution Systems, Sound Stages, Dubbing Theaters, AC/DC Power Distribution, Tour Rides, Office Buildings, Etc. He has continued to provide services for the studios after he formed his own consulting firm in 1986. Alan was Managing Director and Chief Engineer of TECHNOFAR CO. LTD., an international consulting engineering and construction firm, between 1977 and 1980. Leading a team of more than 20 engineers and technicians; and 30 to 500 other employees, subcontractors and contract workers for the supervision of turnkey (Design Build) projects including industrial/ manufacturing, refineries, petrochemical, food processing facilities, high & medium voltage power distribution systems and substations, commercial and governmental projects.
Alan is registered as professional electrical engineer in California, Nevada, Colorado, Oregon. He is also a LEED AP BD+C, CxA
As the newest Principal of Roshanian and Associates, Inc., Bahram Roshanian has brought a great deal of expertise to the company and its clients. He is responsible for the Project Management, Design Development, and Construction Administration.
Bahram has over 30 years of experience in the field of Electrical Engineering. He is experienced in design of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and technology systems. Bahram has been responsible for projects management and design of projects including K-12 Schools, Outpatient Surgery Centers, Office Buildings, Commercial, Residential and Industrial Buildings.
Bahram also has also of experience in the design of High/Medium Voltage Electrical Distribution Systems for large industrial plants and performing electrical system studies including Short Circuit Study, Load Flow Study, Protective Device Coordination Study, Harmonic and Resonance study, Stability study, and Arc Flash Hazard Study.
Bahram was an Electrical Plan Check Engineer at the City of Los Angeles, Department of Building and Safety. His City of Los Angeles Electrical Plan Check background is a key element of our quality control process.
Hooshang is a Professional Engineer and has award-winning professional experience in Mechanical and Plumbing Design for Educational, Commercial, Institutional, and other facilities. He is familiar with all aspects of Mechanical and Plumbing Design, Fire Protection, and HVAC design, including calculations and equipment selection. He is dedicated to green and high efficiency system and building envelope design, and possesses mastery in communications and interface with both manufacturers and clients. His expertise includes HVAC and plumbing systems design for educational, governmental, transportation, commercial, and industrial facilities. His background includes more than 40 years of active design and field supervision for the installation of various mechanical systems. A Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED® AP), Hooshang is committed to sustainable design, and he is fully knowledgeable of all applicable California codes, regulations, and procedures.
Hooshang’s professional experience includes positions in large firms such STV Inc, Syska & Hennessy, and Teledyne Inet. His Engineering experience encompasses diverse areas of expertise from Project Management, Mechanical and Plumbing Engineering, quality assurance, construction administration, and energy modeling.
Hooshang has vast experience in the field of mechanical engineering design in the field of HVAC, piping, and energy efficient designs with responsibilities including overseeing the activities of the mechanical engineering department, ensuring the quality and thoroughness of design and documentation. His extensive experience in the field of Mechanical and Plumbing Engineering includes design of Boilers, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Packaged Rooftop Units, Hydronic, Air Handling, and Ventilation Systems, Title 24 and Load Calculations, and hot water heating systems.
He is particularly experienced in the energy efficient, sustainable engineering design related to educational facilities, aviation, government, office buildings, prisons, medical and rail and bus maintenance facilities.
Peter Yavari brings over ten years of professional business development and marketing expertise in the design and construction industry. Areas of focus include business development, strategic planning, and proposal management.
Accomplished in business development and marketing, Peter overseas business-to-business relations and professional services, serving a variety of public , corporate, commercial, and institutional clients.
With ten years of experience in the design and construction industry including, design-build, client relationship management and existing & new business development, Peter has been able to develop bold and sustainable objectives and strategies in support of overall business development goals, lead procurement, and an annual and long-range marketing plan. Peter is a key contributor at Roshanian and Associates, Inc., assisting during the negotiation process, developing close relationships with clients/owners, and providing the connections for the future.
