ALAN ROSHANIAN
CEO / PRINCIPAL

M.S.E.E, P.E., LEED AP BD+C, CxA

With an impressive career spanning over 40 years, Mr. Roshanian stands as a titan in the field of Engineering. As the CEO/Principal of Roshanian & Associates since 1987, he has masterfully led the design and project management of more than 1,000 diverse projects, ranging from state-of-the-art hospitals and educational facilities to dynamic motion picture industry ventures, expansive shopping centers, and sophisticated office buildings. His portfolio also includes cutting-edge industrial and manufacturing plants, as well as exceptional institutional, commercial, hospitality, and residential projects.

Mr. Roshanian’s expertise is further highlighted by his pivotal role as a consultant for the Los Angeles Unified School District, where he revamped design guides and specifications. His commitment to excellence is evident in his contributions to the peer design review of over 100 new LAUSD campuses, showcasing his influence on educational infrastructure.

Previously, between 1982 and 1986, he was a vital member of the Universal Studios/MCA team, where he excelled in the design and construction administration of complex systems, including medium voltage power distribution and innovative sound stages. Even after establishing his own engineering firm in 1986, he continued to provide invaluable services to the studios, solidifying his status as a trusted industry leader.

Additionally, as the Managing Director and Chief Engineer of TECHNOFAR CO. LTD. from 1977 to 1980, Mr. Roshanian demonstrated his exceptional leadership by guiding a team of over 20 engineers and technicians, alongside hundreds of subcontractors. His oversight of large-scale turnkey design-build projects—encompassing industrial, petrochemical, food processing facilities, high and medium voltage power distribution systems, and governmental projects—further underscores his unparalleled expertise.

BAHRAM ROSHANIAN
PRINCIPAL

As the newest Principal of Roshanian and Associates, Inc., Bahram Roshanian has brought a great deal of expertise to the company and its clients. Mr. Roshanian is responsible for the Project Management, Design Development, and Construction Administration.

Has over 35 years of experience in the field of Electrical Engineering. Is experienced in design of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and technology systems. Has been responsible for project management and design of projects including Education Facilities, Outpatient Surgery Centers, Office Buildings, Commercial, Residential and Industrial Buildings.

Also has extensive experience in the design of High/Medium Voltage Electrical Distribution Systems for large industrial plants and performing electrical system studies including Short Circuit Study, Load Flow Study, Protective Device Coordination Study, Harmonic and Resonance study, Stability study, and Arc Flash Hazard Study.
Previously an Electrical Plan Check Engineer at the City of Los Angeles, Department of Building and Safety. His City of Los Angeles Electrical Plan Check background is a key element of our quality control process.

HOOSHANG MOZAFFARI
PRINCIPAL

Mr. Mozaffari has over 40 years of Professional Engineer experience in Mechanical, Plumbing, and Fire protection Engineering Design services for Educational, Commercial, Institutional, Industrial, and Railand Transit facilities. Mr. Mozaffari is the head of our Mechanical team. Covering all aspects of Mechanical and Plumbing Engineering Design, Fire Protection, and HVAC, including specifications, calculations, and equipment selection. Dedicated to green and high efficiency systems and building envelope design and possesses mastery in communications and interface with both manufacturers and clients. Background includes active design and field supervision for the installation of various mechanical systems.

A Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED® AP), Mr. Mozaffari is committed to sustainable design, has designed many LEED Certified buildings, and he is fully knowledgeable of all applicable California codes, regulations, and procedures.

Professional experience includes positions in large firms such STV Inc, Syska & H enness y, and Teledyne Inet. Engineering experience encompasses diverse areas of expertise from Project Management, Mechanical and Plumbing Engineering, quality assurance, construction administration, and energy modeling.

Has vast experience in the field of mechanical engineering design in the field of HVAC, piping, and energy efficient designs with responsibilities including overseeing the activities of the mechanical engineering department and ensuring the quality and thoroughness of design and documentation. Extensive experience includes design of the central heating, cooling, and hydro nics, consisting of Boilers, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Packaged Rooftop Units, Water Source Heat Pump Systems, Exhaust Ventilation Systems, and Title 24 and Load Calculations. He is particularly experienced in the energy efficient, sustainable engineering design related to Education Facilities, Aviation, Government, Office Buildings, Correction Facilities, Hospitals, and Rail and Bus Maintenance Facilities.
