ALAN ROSHANIAN
CEO / PRINCIPAL

With an impressive career spanning over 40 years, Mr. Roshanian stands as a titan in the field of Engineering. As the CEO / Principal of Roshanian & Associates since 1987, he has masterfully led the design and project management of more than 1,000 diverse projects, ranging from state-of-the-art hospitals and educational facilities to dynamic motion picture industry ventures, expansive shopping centers, and sophisticated office buildings. His portfolio also includes cutting-edge industrial and manufacturing plants, as well as exceptional institutional, commercial, hospitality, and residential projects.
Mr. Roshanian’s expertise is further highlighted by his pivotal role as a consultant for the Los Angeles Unified School District, where he revamped design guides and specifications. His commitment to excellence is evident in his contributions to the peer design review of over 100 new LAUSD campuses, showcasing his influence on educational infrastructure.
Previously, between 1982 and 1986, he was a vital member of the Universal Studios/MCA team, where he excelled in the design and construction administration of complex systems, including medium voltage power distribution and innovative sound stages. Even after establishing his own engineering firm in 1986, he continued to provide invaluable services to the studios, solidifying his status as a trusted industry leader.
Additionally, as the Managing Director and Chief Engineer of TECHNOFAR CO. LTD. from 1977 to 1980, Mr. Roshanian demonstrated his exceptional leadership by guiding a team of over 20 engineers and technicians, alongside hundreds of subcontractors. His oversight of large-scale turnkey design-build projects—encompassing industrial, petrochemical, food processing facilities, high and medium voltage power distribution systems, and governmental projects—further underscores his unparalleled expertise.
As the newest Principal at Roshanian and Associates, Inc., Bahram Roshanian adds over 35 years of expertise in Electrical Engineering to both the company and its clients. He oversees Project Management, Design Development, and Construction Administration, ensuring that each project is executed with precision and efficiency.
Mr. Roshanian has extensive experience in designing power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and technology systems across a wide range of sectors, including Education Facilities, Outpatient Surgery Centers, Office Buildings, and Commercial, Residential, and Industrial projects.
In addition, he is highly skilled in designing High/Medium Voltage Electrical Distribution Systems for large industrial plants. He is also experienced in conducting electrical system studies, such as Short Circuit, Load Flow, Protective Device Coordination, Harmonic and Resonance, Stability, and Arc Flash Hazard studies.
Previously, Mr. Roshanian served as an Electrical Plan Check Engineer with the City of Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety. His experience in this role plays a crucial part in our rigorous quality control process, ensuring that all designs meet the highest standards.

Mike K. Roy
PRINCIPAL
P.E., M.B.A., LEED GA
Mr. Roy serve as the Senior Mechanical Engineer, P.E. in a facility coordination capacity, if needed. He has over 15 years of experience in the design and coordination of HVAC and Plumbing systems for commercial, institutional, healthcare, hospitality, residential, and educational facilities. He has extensive experience managing projects from concept through construction administration while collaborating closely with architects, owners, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver high-quality and fully coordinated building system designs.
Mr. Roy is experienced in new construction, tenant improvement, retrofit, and EV infrastructure projects. His expertise includes HVAC load calculations, equipment selection, ductwork and hydronic system layouts, energy compliance coordination, and mechanical system evaluations for upgrades and modernization projects. He is proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Energy Pro, and Carrier HAP load calculation software.
In addition to his engineering expertise, Mr. Roy provides project management leadership by defining project goals and objectives, coordinating stakeholders, managing schedules and scope, supporting business development efforts, and ensuring successful project delivery. He is experienced in construction administration activities including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, conducting field surveys, and evaluating existing systems for retrofit and upgrade solutions.
